22nd Annual Underground Stone Safety Seminar

The 22nd Annual Underground Stone Safety Seminar will once again be held in Louisville, Kentucky at a NEW location - Downtown Louisville Marriott. We have slated a good line up of speakers including presentations on ground control engineering solutions along with health and safety topics related to airblasts, dust control, and mine ventilation. The Early Bird Workshop will kick off at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5th and will address updates to NIOSH research on lighting to improve safety and underground mine communication infrastructure. We will host a reception immediately following the Early Bird Workshop.

On Wednesday December 6, registration will begin at 7:00 a.m. followed by welcoming remarks at 8:00 a.m. We will kick off the meeting at 8:00 a.m., lunch at 12:15 p.m. and wrap up the meeting with door prizes at 4:00 p.m.

Cancelation policy - 3 business days notification to the Kentucky Crushed Stone Association office prior to the start of the conference.

The conference has a block of rooms reserved for Wednesday night March 1 at the Downtown Louisville Marriott.
