The Kentucky Crushed Stone Association is hosting the 2017 Summer Meeting at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. The meeting begins on Thursday, July 6 and concludes on Sunday, July 9. We encourage your attendance and look forward to your participation as we address those issues that are so important to the crushed stone, sand and gravel industry. We also plan to have a great time! All producer and associate members and their employees and families are invited to attend. It is a family affair so please bring your children! 

Thursday night’s Welcome Reception includes time to renew acquaintances and activities for kids and the whole family at the Water's Edge inside the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. Our entertainer for the children is Broadway the Clown. Broadway has been a longtime supporter of KCSA events.

We have changed the summer meeting schedule a bit and will now host a Breakfast and Business Meeting #1 on Friday morning and the golf event following the business meeting or in the afternoon. A light breakfast will be available from 7-8:00 a.m. with the business session #1 taking place from 8-10:30 a.m. in the Hermitage AB Rooms. "Broadway the Clown" will be back to entertain the little crushers from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. near the business meeting in the Hermitage E Room. 

The Friday KCSA Golf Scramble Tournament will be a little later in the day this year starting at 12:00 p.m. The course for this years event will be held at the beautiful Hermitage Golf Course on the President's Reserve. A box lunch will be provided for those playing golf. The President’s Reserve course, designed by architect Denis Griffiths, trails through 300 acres of natural Tennessee wetlands and along the banks of the beautiful Cumberland River. Playing up to 7200 yards, The President’s Reserve can offer any golfer as much challenge as one might desire, yet be a pleasurable golfing experience for even the occasional golfer. The President’s Reserve has been recognized by Golf Digest Magazine as one of the TOP 10 in Tennessee.

The Friday evening event will be located in the Magnolia Ballroom at the Opryland Hotel. This event will feature a reception, dinner, entertainment and our exciting cash give-away and door prize drawing. Our reception will begin at 6:00 p.m. with dinner starting around 7:00 p.m with the event concluding at 9:30 p.m. Our entertainment for the evening will be a country music trio accompanied by a two entertaining line dancers. If you like to line dance or would like to learn to line dance, this is your chance. This will be a lot of fun and offers something for everyone. 

The second Business Meeting #2 and light breakfast will be held on Saturday morning. Breakfast will be available from 7-8:00 a.m. with the business session #2 taking place from 8-10:30 a.m. in the Hermitage AB Rooms. Upon the conclusion of the Business Meeting #2, you are free to explore the hotel and the city of Nashville.

We will reconvene for a closing reception at 5-6:00 p.m. in the Delta Pavilion. Upon conclusion of the reception, make plans to attend an optional group event at the Grand Ole Opry. The group tickets for this event will be in tier two or eye level with the stage. Due to ticket commitments in the KCSA group section, the cut off date to reserve your tickets in June 6, 2017. Performers will be announced closer to the summer meeting dates. Tickets can be purchased through the online registration process on the association’s web site.



We have reserved a block of rooms at the Opryland for our meeting at a rate of $199 +tax for a standard room (rates includes $20 resort fee). Resort fee inlcludes resort savings card, hi-speed in-room wireless access, daily scheduled service to Grand Ole Opry House, Opry Mills, General Jackson Showboat & the Inn at Opryland, 2 daily bottles of water replenished with housekeeping service, daily credit of up to $10 per room towards dry cleaning (credit per day not cumulative), daily bucket of balls at Gaylord Springs Golf Course, Wildhorse Saloon cover charge for up to 4 guests.
