2022 Kentucky Crushed Stone Association Summer Meeting

Join your fellow Kentucky Crushed Stone Association members on July 7-8 at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN. We have secured rooms at the Opryland Hotel for Wednesday, July 6, Thursday, July 7 and Friday, July 8 so you are able to come early to the event and enjoy your time at the meeting. 

On Thursday, July 7, our business meeting will take place from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. (CST) where you will hear updates from the industry, the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association and some special guests. Following the business meeting, we are hosting a reception/dinner that night starting at 6:00 p.m. at the beautiful Waters Edge located inside the Opryland hotel. 

On Friday, July 8, we are hosting a golf scramble at Gaylord Springs Golf Course at 9:00 a.m. (CST) Later that afternoon/evening we will be reconvening for a reception and dinner from 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. at the Ryman Hall B3. Following dinner, we are going to finish the evening at the Grand Ole Opry. A seperate ticket will need to purchased to attend this event. 

The KCSA meeting is a family friendly atmosphere. We encourage you to take advantage of the newest attraction to the beautiful hotel.

1:15 – 1:40 p.m.     Timothy Davis - The Hot Chicken Cookbook

  • The Fiery History and Red-Hot Recipes of Nashville’s Beloved Bird (Spring House Press) was published. In its fourth printing, the book has been reviewed or otherwise mentioned in TimeNational GeographicThe New Yorker and Food Republic and was the subject of a feature on NPR’s Morning Edition.

4:00 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.     Reception/Dinner – Presidential CE, Level 2

   Cash Drawing

7:00 – 9:00            Grand Ole Opry (optional event)

    • Transportation to the Opry will start departing at 6:00 p.m. from Presidential Portico, near the dinner location
    • You are more than welcome over to walk to the Grand Ole Opry too
