The Kentucky Crushed Stone Association is hosting the 2018 Summer Meeting at the Cincinnati Marriott RiverCenter, Covington, KY. The meeting begins on Thursday, July 12 and concludes on Sunday, July 15. We encourage your attendance and look forward to your participation as we address those issues that are so important to the crushed stone, sand and gravel industry. We also plan to have a great time! All producer and associate members and their employees and families are invited to attend. It is a family affair so please bring your children!
Thursday night’s Welcome Reception - 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. (July 12)
Our Thursday night event includes time to network and renew acquaintances with activities for kids and the whole family at the hotel inside Covington Ballrooms at the Marriott RiverCenter Hotel. Our entertainer for the children is Broadway the Clown. Broadway has been a longtime supporter of KCSA events.
Board/Membership Meeting on Friday morning - 8:00 - 10:30 a.m. (July 13)
Breakfast will be available from 7-8:00 a.m. in Covington I ballroom with the business session #1 taking place from 8-10:30 a.m. in Covington II and III ballrooms located on the lobby level of the hotel. "Broadway the Clown" will be back to entertain the little crushers from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. near the business meeting in the Hermitage E Room.
The Friday KCSA Golf Scramble/Tournament will be held at 11:30 a.m.
This year's event will be held at the beautiful Golf Course of Kenton County - Fox Run Course. A box lunch will be provided for those playing golf. Fox Run was designed by renowned architect Arthur Hills. This distinctively different golf course provides a wonderful blend of architectural style from hole to hole. Here you will find links-type holes which somewhat resemble that of a Scottish golf course. There is a sampling of Carolina-type holes with drastic changes in elevation from tee to green. Finally, there is a balance of more traditional mid-western style golf holes: all of which gracefully blend with the natural terrain and surrounding environment. The absence of housing and condo developments within the course allows the golfer to truly experience nature in its spectacular beauty.

The Friday evening event will be held at the Newport Aquarium - 6:00 - 9:30 p.m.
This event will feature a reception and dinner at the Riverside Room & Aquarium Exhibit space overlooks the Ohio River and beautiful city of Cincinnati. Our reception will begin at 6:00 p.m. with dinner starting around 6:30 p.m. Shortly after dinner, we will have a few special guests greet the group. At approximately 7:30 p.m., the aquarium will open exclusively for our group where we can enjoy desserts and the atmosphere. The event will conclude at 9:30 p.m. Bus transportation will be provided to and from the aquarium.
Business Meeting #2 will be held on Saturday morning - 8:30 - 11:00 a.m. (July 14)
Breakfast will be available from 7:15 - 8:30 a.m. with the business session taking place from 8:30 - 11:00 a.m. in the Covington II and III ballrooms located on the lobby level of the hotel. We will recognize our safety award winners, followed by presentations from transportation and political representatives from both Kentucky and Washington D.C. We will also recognize the inaugural Leadership Kentucky Crushed Stone class during this time. Upon the conclusion of the Business Meeting, you are free to explore Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati.

Saturday evening event - Cincinnati Reds Stadium - Great American Ball Park - 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Our Saturday night event will be held at the home of the Cincinnati Reds in the Great American Ball Park. Our reception and dinner will be at the Fox Sports Club area of the stadium which is on the second level of the stadium. Although the Reds are playing baseball out of town that night, we will have the entire stadium to ourselves. We have scheduled a really nice reception and dinner, special guests for little crushers, indoor batting practice with an official Reds warm-up pitching coach, and stadium tours where you can see the locker rooms, dugout and behind the scenes of the Great American Ball Park. This will be a fun and exciting night for both adults and children.
