Benefits of Membership

The Kentucky Crushed Stone Association (KCSA) is a member-focused trade association representing the diverse interests of the crushed stone industry at the state level.

KCSA provides its members with essential support, resources, and advocacy across multiple areas, including:

  • Product promotion and market development

  • Legislative and regulatory affairs

  • Public relations and community engagement

  • Training, education, and workforce development

KCSA works closely with other associations and organizations that share our goal of advancing the industry, its customers, and the public.

Members receive timely updates on vital industry issues through the KCSA newsletter and special communications.

Through proactive lobbying efforts with the Kentucky General Assembly and state agencies, KCSA promotes legislation and regulations that reflect the needs and priorities of the industry.

KCSA’s standing committees provide opportunities to address challenges, develop new programs, and exchange ideas and best practices among members.

In addition, KCSA hosts a variety of meetings, seminars, workshops, and training programs for member company personnel throughout the year.

Types of Membership

The Kentucky Crushed Stone Association offers three classifications of membership:

Regular Membership

Open to any individual, firm, or corporation that crushes, markets, or sells products extracted from limestone, sand, or gravel deposits and meets all other membership requirements.
Each Regular Member is entitled to one vote within the Association.

Associate Membership

Open to any individual, firm, or corporation engaged in manufacturing or selling equipment, materials, or supplies, or providing services to the crushed limestone, sand, or gravel industry in Kentucky, who meets membership requirements but does not qualify as a Regular Member.

Honorary Life Membership

This special designation recognizes exceptional and meritorious service to KCSA and the crushed stone industry.
A person who has retired and is no longer active in a member company’s operations may be awarded Honorary Life Membership upon approval by the KCSA Board of Directors.
