Trump Wants Your Input on Burdensome Regulations By March 31

TRUMP WANTS YOUR INPUT ON BURDENSOME REGULATIONS BY MARCH 31

The Trump administration continues its breakneck pace of regulatory reform to improve the U.S. economy. In the president’s latest order, he is asking the aggregates industry for regulations to address.

In addition to the “Two Out, One In” and Waters of the U.S. Rule reconsideration executive orders, on Feb. 24 the president signed the “Enforcing the Regulatory Reform Agenda” order which requires federal agencies to streamline permitting and “lower the unnecessary regulatory reform burdens on the American people.” A key component of this order is collecting information from businesses and is outlined in the March 7 Federal Register notice.

NSSGA plans to provide comments to the administration on regulatory priorities for the industry including those promulgated by MSHA, EPA and OSHA, including WOTUS. We would like your input on which regulations the administration should target.
